Who I am

I was born in Florence in 1979, and I grew up and studied there. I graduated in 2003 at the University of Florence after an 8 months internship at NJIT, USA. I then worked for 2 years at IT Telecom Italia between Trento and Rome before going into research. I joined Create-Net and I started a PhD at the Unversty of Florence in 2006, while I was working in Trento. There, I was part of the pervasive computing group and I successfully completed my PhD with 20 international publications, working on several EU projects (FP6 and FP7) and trying to bring my research work into reality by patenting my work. Since december 2007 I am R&D responsible in Futur3 srl ( go to futur3 website ) and I lead the Software development team.

I currently live in Trento with my wife Francesca (we are married since October 2006), our daughter Cecilia and our son Samuele.
